So easy! Got my CA medical cannabis recommendation. Have one in MN but can't use in CA so just decided to pony up the $ & get one for both states where I reside. Quick & easy to attach med records & documents needed. Promptly called me after review to say I was approved.

This is my fifth consecutive year of having my card. After retiring from the military I was on roughly 10 medications. I was also a recovering alcoholic. My primary doctor who knows me very well recommended NuggMD. Was skeptical at first, name threw me I won't lie. First few, I had certifications in on screen in minutes. Now money is pulled right away, says within 24 hours but that's not true. FAQ's will say up to 7-8 business days. Dispensary's and doctors will give NYS certs for 69 dollars and can literally purchase walking out. Stuck with NuggMD because it SHOULD be quicker and easier but double the price and slow. If you have Agoraphobia this site will work well for you, but if you can get to an office it's much quicker and cheaper.
Update: at 2100 that day I'm told it should be there in 24 hours. I asked for it to be cancelled as it can have it done on leaf well for 69 dollars and it suddenly appeared in my settings making it unable to be cancelled. Would not recommend to anyone. Leave well has them and curaleaf gives codes. Shop around, and I've been using these guys for 5 years as said and they literally uploaded it to stop me from cancelling.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The doctor -- "Dr. Bob" was great. It ended with him, though. Nugg, your customer service -- what little "service" I got, was horrible. I was told that you send out savings coupons "occasionally" but I have never seen one. When I asked about it, I could almost hear the I-don't-give-a-damn shrug. Repeated requests to have a "supervisor" or manager call me were for nothing. The one contact I did get, an email, was delivered to my Junk folder. Moved to Inbox, replied and sent. Crickets. There are a lot of choices out there. My best advice, in my experience, is to find one of them.

I chose NuggMD due to a Groupon deal and the many positive anecdotes on Reddit. My experience, however, did not go as smoothly as the anecdotes led me to believe.
After being unexpectedly dumped into a virtual waiting room without warning, I frantically set up my webcam and microphone, expecting to have a video call. After waiting about 45 minutes, I found out that it was all for nothing, because the doctor called me on the phone instead. Then, the subsequent phone call was plagued by poor audio quality and lasted less than a minute. The doctor didn't ask me a single question.
I've already saved enough on recreational taxes to almost pay for what NuggMD cost me, but I'm hoping to find something better by the time I have to renew in three years. Overall, while the service ultimately fulfilled its purpose, the whole thing felt a bit shady and was more stressful than necessary.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 2Business owner information

To be honest, I felt that the website was easy to navigate and the pages were easy to fill out on the application. I received an appointment within 5 minutes and the doctor approved and sent my email(medical card) within another 5 minutes. I didn't really encounter any issues like the previous reviews mention and I mean I only paid $67 for the 1 year medical card, which does not include a plastic copy, it's very clear that they charge for that. I had a pleasant customer service experience with the doctor. And they provided quick, friendly care. I hope everyone looking to get a medical marijuana card has a pleasant, easy experience as well.

Quick, efficient, effective in all avenues. A bit pricey but that's not their fault entirely it's society penalizing people who need it. Great doctor, in and out, compassionate. Telehealth appt. Care was top notch.

I'm leaving one star because even though the doctor was nice and approved me, these appointments clearly rip people off. Charging folks $75 to $100 for an appointment that last less than 5 minutes is unprofessional, unethical, and other words I have yet to find. I am not stating this simply of the doctor but of the company itself, as I used it last year as well. This should not be happening to patients. There should be a cap on fees that patients can be charged for appointments, especially short ones, and the State of WV should not be allowing this to happen or to be going on in this wild wonderful state. I literally am poor and just spent my Christmas money, $75 for a 3 to 5 minutes phone call with a doctor just so I can get the meds I need . It's not quite a scam but it's certainly not ethical. Pretty greedy if you ask me. Toodles!
